John Timothy Grogan MP (born 24 February 1961) is a British Labour Party politician, who is the current Member of Parliament for Keighley. He was formerly Member of Parliament for Selby between 1997 and 2010. He is currently a Chair of All Party Parliamentary Mongolia Group and Chairman of the Mongolian–British Chamber of Commerce (MBCC). He has visited the country 47 times and has been awarded the Pole Star ( which is the highest award which can be awarded to a foreigner by the Mongolian President) for his work to promote political and economic links between the two nations. Until recently John also chaired Hatfield Coal mine in Yorkshire which was the second last British deep coal mine to close.
