SK Vostokgeologia
Country session co-sponsor
SK Vostokgeologia is one of two private companies aiming to conduct geological exploration and gold mining activities in the Krasnoyarsk Region of Russia. With net capital of US $800,000, the company's team of 40 employees has been working together for four years, during which time it has mined 149 kg of gold concentrate. Its most promising licences are for the exploration of 150 sq. km., 600 km. north of Krasnoyarsk, which is regarded as a highly promising 'white spot on the map'. The blocks are located near the Kutukas river, which is a right-side tributary of the Yenisei. Last year, we found the first signs of gold, and this year we established a permanent gold exploration project, aimed at describing placer gold and finding hard-rock gold. Besides, as the company absorbs local-knowledge, we have applied for further exploration licenses within the Krasnoyarsk Region. The company is looking for further investment to help it accelerate its rapid growth.
