Kazakhstan is the subject of one of the central sessions of MINEX Eurasia 2018 on 23 November 2018 in Simmons & Simmons in London.

Among the topics to be covered at in the session entitled ‘Kazakhstan: New Code and Investment Opportunities’ will be the introduction of the new Subsoil Use Code earlier this year, which introduced a new licensing system and simplified procedures for gaining subsoil use rights. With several major Kazakh companies, most notably Kazatomprom, engaged in pre-IPO activity in London, interest in the Kazakh mining sector this year has been tremendous.
