The 7th MINEX Eurasia Mining Forum will take place in London on 23 November 2018.

MINEX Eurasia Forum was established in 2012 as the UK’s premier mining Forum on Frontier Markets.

Organised by Advantix Ltd. in partnership with the UK’s Department for International Trade the Forum will provide a platform for discussing the on-going changes and opening opportunities to business partnerships, trade, and investments in Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Caspian region and Russia.

The program features country-focused sessions where the keynote speakers from the DIT, Embassies, Ministries and International Institutions will present on the recent Government policies, Major privatisation projects and reforms, Investment and Business climate, Local procurement, Community engagement and much more.

Major and Junior Mining companies will present project updates and will be available for the one-on-one meetings coordinated by the DIT team.

Panel discussion on funding mining projects in Eurasia will draw on the practical experiences of the Private Equity Funds, Export Financiers, Streaming companies, Hedge Funds, Bank lenders and International Financial Institutions.

An analytical session on “Managing Investment perception” with speakers from BBC World News, Bluecrest Capital Management and DARS Consulting will look into how the Media creates stereotypes and makes multiple impacts on mining investments in Frontier markets.

The Forum will conclude with the Networking drinks hosted by Simmons and Simmons.

The previous Forum held in 2017 brought together over 180 delegates from the UK and overseas. Mining companies operating in Azerbaijan, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, Russia, Serbia, Ukraine, and Tajikistan took part in the event. General Managers, Operational Directors, Finance Directors and Procurement leaders from gold, coal, copper and other metal and mineral mines and processing plants were taking part in the conference and one-on-one meetings organised by the Department for International Trade.
